Event Details

KUDZU is often recognized across North Carolina as a green blanket covering everything from trees to cars and houses.
Did you know that KUDZU is useful to humans?
Come find out how through hands-on plant activities and an interactive art installation, we will learn about KUDZU’S biology and uncover its historic relationship with our own species.

Your participation will assist us to better understand the impacts that art strategies and techniques can have on the
dissemination of science knowledge through the study of plants, specifically Kudzu. Educational booklets/materials kits and supplies will be offered to participants. Please call Gabe Duggan at 1(252)328-1321 for any research related questions.

All in-person programs will follow current state and federal health guidelines and apply a range of safety measures to mitigate health risks, including smaller class sizes, moving into larger rooms (if indoors), keeping participants a safe distance from each other and increasing sanitation efforts.

Please note that in-person programs are subject to change or cancellation depending on COVID-19 restrictions. A full refund would be provided in event of a cancellation.
