The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences Eastern Regional Branch is a non-profit and relies on your support. Your donations, and volunteerism help build an organization of excellence in science education for all of Eastern North Carolina. Your support helps us to maintain and improve our facilities, curate world-class exhibitions, buy equipment, and develop our educational programs.
Patrons and Corporate partners are vital to ATFS. We offer an exceptionally rich and varied range of tailored opportunities, including high-profile multi-year partnerships, sponsorship of our world-class exhibitions, annual patron and corporate membership and rental opportunities at our indoor and outdoor facilities.
“I’m proud to be a part of the NCMNS Eastern Regional Branch’s mission to enhance environmental awareness, science education and literacy in our region.”
Donations support everything you love about A Time For Science, especially our ability to inspire exploration, spark curiosity, generate awe, and sustain a love of learning in Eastern North Carolina.
Support Science For Everyone. Give To The Museum Today!
We can’t do what we do without the help of our volunteers! From keeping the A Time For Science in tip-top shape, to preparation to presenting science programs to visiting school groups, there’s a chance for everyone to volunteer at the A Time For Science.
A Time For Science is always looking for energetic and qualified volunteers to help us bring our mission to life by connecting people through science and nature. As a volunteer you’ll explore new areas of interest, meet inspiring people, attend social and educational events, learn transferable skills, and be a part of our fun and enthusiastic team. Volunteer hours are available on either a regular or an on-call basis during weekdays and weekends.

Pillar of Support
Spectacular exhibits need your support and so do the extraordinary labs, educational programs, and collections that make your Museum one-of-a-kind.Creating a bequest, charitable gift annuity, or giving appreciated stock, may offer better tax savings for you than an outright gift of cash.
With each and every gift, a donor is helping to shape the Museum’s vision and inspiring the leaders of tomorrow. From individual experiences to large scale initiatives, you have made an impact. We express our deepest gratitude to the individuals, corporations and foundations that have supported us.
