Campers hone their problem-solving skills through a series of design challenges throughout the week. We’ll explore questions of sustainability and encourage creative thinking and problem solving.
Campers hone their problem-solving skills through a series of design challenges throughout the week. We’ll explore questions of sustainability and encourage creative thinking and problem solving. Campers will make observations and use nature as a model for design. Brain breaks are for exploring the nature playscape and kayaking in the pond.
- Green Engineering Summer Camps are offered the week of July 11-15
- The cost is $150/camper.
- Shuttle is available from NCMNS Greenville for an additional fee of $25/camper. Space is limited!
- Camps run daily from 8am - 5pm
- Camps are designed for rising 1st-5th graders.
Each Day students will need:
A mask
A Packed Lunch
Clothing and accessories appropriate for the daily weather conditions.
All in-person programs will follow current state and federal health guidelines and apply a range of safety measures to mitigate health risks, including smaller class sizes, moving into larger rooms (if indoors), keeping participants a safe distance from each other and increasing sanitation efforts.
Please note that in-person programs are subject to change or cancellation depending on COVID-19 restrictions. A full refund would be provided in event of a cancellation.
