

Summer Camp: Inventor’s Workshop

Learn the basics of CNC milling using cloud-based software. Participants will design and have fabricated a range of products including a wall tile, jigsaw puzzle, an ornament, piece of jewelry, and original artwork! Campers will learn about Human Centered Design principles by solving a real problem and make real objects that they think up using advanced manufacturing technologies on free cloud-based software.
- Inventor's Workshop Summer Camp is offered the week of June 21-25.
- The cost is $350/camper.
- Camp Location: 729 Dickenson Avenue, Greenville, NC 27834
- Camps run daily from 9am - 3pm.
- Camps are designed for rising 9th-12th graders.
Each Day students will need:
A mask
A packed lunch
A laptop computer
All in-person programs will follow current state and federal health guidelines and apply a range of safety measures to mitigate health risks, including smaller class sizes, moving into larger rooms (if indoors), keeping participants a safe distance from each other and increasing sanitation efforts.
Please note that in-person programs are subject to change or cancellation depending on COVID-19 restrictions. A full refund would be provided in event of a cancellation.
