Want to get a jump start on Med School? The Med Camp Series provides instruction led by a professional medical education instructor who regularly advise students applying to or matriculating through med school. Campers will explore the anatomy and patho-physiology of our most critical body systems, the Respiratory system. We will explore this system’s role in maintaining human health, gross anatomy of the lungs, trachea, bronchial tree, oral and nasal passages, and discuss diseases and how they are controlled medically. The activities will include project-based learning around dissection, building models that are interactive to better visualize disease states, and other laboratory activities.

  • Med Camp is offered the week of June 14-18.
  • The cost is $850/camper.
  • Camp Location: 729 Dickenson Avenue, Greenville, NC 27834
  • Camps run daily from 9am - 3pm.
  • Camps are designed for rising 9th-12th graders.

Each Day students will need:
A mask
A packed lunch
A laptop computer

Campers will be required to adhere to the following lab safety rules:
Must wear closed-toe shoes
No long-dangling jewelry (earrings, nose rings, necklaces, etc.)
Long hair must be pulled back and secured away from face and work area

All in-person programs will follow current state and federal health guidelines and apply a range of safety measures to mitigate health risks, including smaller class sizes, moving into larger rooms (if indoors), keeping participants a safe distance from each other and increasing sanitation efforts.

Please note that in-person programs are subject to change or cancellation depending on COVID-19 restrictions. A full refund would be provided in event of a cancellation.
