Explore space science with Bri the Sky Guy, our Astronomy Director! Blast off to the sun and stroll our scale model of the Solar System! Enjoy daily planetarium shows in our full dome with digital projection. Create out of this world space crafts and explore the universe with unique question and answer sessions with an astrophysicist. Improve your knowledge on constellations and take a tour of the night sky! End the afternoons with fun on Earth, with water games, kayaking, and hiking through the grounds!

  • Space is the Place Summer Camp are offered the week of June 14-18.
  • The cost is $150/camper.
  • Shuttle is available from NCMNS Greenville for an additional fee of $25/camper. Space is limited!
  • Camps run daily from 8am - 5pm.
  • Camps are designed for rising 1st-5th graders.

Each Day students will need:
A mask
A Packed Lunch
Clothing and accessories appropriate for the daily weather conditions.

All in-person programs will follow current state and federal health guidelines and apply a range of safety measures to mitigate health risks, including smaller class sizes, moving into larger rooms (if indoors), keeping participants a safe distance from each other and increasing sanitation efforts.

Please note that in-person programs are subject to change or cancellation depending on COVID-19 restrictions. A full refund would be provided in event of a cancellation.
