Patriot Grove Dedication Ceremony

Join us on Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, at 2:00 PM at Contentnea Creek for the dedication of Patriot Grove, a living memorial honoring the patriots of Pitt County and North Carolina.

Created as part of the nation’s 250th anniversary, Patriot Grove will feature 250 native trees representing the history, service, and enduring spirit of our community. The grove will serve as a place to remember those who have served, celebrate our shared heritage, and connect future generations with the natural world.

We invite veterans, families, community members, and friends to join us as we officially dedicate this special place and honor those who have helped shape our community and our nation.
