LEARN

NCMNS Greenville and Contentnea Creek provide astronomy education, environmental education, and outdoor recreation to the children, adults and families of eastern North Carolina. From exploring the deep sea at the Greenville location to venturing into space in the Contentnea Creek location, the education opportunities are boundless!

Our highly trained educators deliver hands-on learning experiences that reinforce and bring to life the concepts that are taught in the classroom. Each field trip is correlated to the NC Essential Standards and to the Next Generation Science Standards according to grade level.

FIELD TRIPS

Student programs at NCMNS Greenville and Contentnea Creek are offered to rising Kindergarten–12th grade students. These programs are available throughout the school year and summer.
