Science Saturdays

Science Saturdays are your chance to explore niche subjects, meet new animals, and engage with science in ways like never before.
Science Saturdays are offered at the Greenville location at 12:30 pm.
Programs are fun for all ages. Adults are welcome and encouraged to compete in games!
Starting in January, 2026, Science Saturdays will be donation based. For a donation of any amount anyone can join in on the activity.

March 7th
Whale Shark craft!

March 14th
Pi Day! Celebrate 3.14 in style by making your own “pi in the sky” craft!
March 21st
Innovation Early College’s Sustainabile Art Club is presenting the “Sustainable Art Showcase” for public viewing!
March 28th
Celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day with a deep dive into rainbows and the history of leprechauns!
April 4th
Join veterinarian Linda Kuhn with a demonstration exam of a real dog! Learn what vets look for when doing an exam, and what techniques they use in their day to day practice.
April 11th
Celebrate Spring by learning about the life cycle of butterflies and painting mini-terracotta pots to take home.
April 18th
Guest scientists from Planet ECU will be bringing a Trashcano demonstration. The demo explains the pressure behind volcanoes, and is a giant water explosion.
April 25th
Celebrate Earth Day by doing a recycling craft! If enough participants want to- we may host a Community Trash Pick-up around downtown!
